Whether you prefer watching the world go by or getting out for some exercise, Esmae House is a perfect location for couples. We are conveniently located a few steps away from the town centre, Crescent Gardens and the cliff top above the award winning beach at Filey Bay. We have secure storage for bicycles and off street parking for motorcycles. As cyclists and motorcyclists, we understand what makes a stay special and will do what we can to make yours as comfortable as possible. Need a suggestion…? Not a problem. Whether its a walk, a bike ride, a drive, a day out, adrenaline fuelled or just coffee (& cake….😉) we can cover all bases with a choice of things to do from our door step. We are only a short drive from Dalby Forest and the surf spots along the coast. Or just come along and put your feet up…… it’s your holiday! We operate a quiet policy during the evenings and for the comfort of all our guests, we do not accept children or pets, offering adult only accommodation.  Also, we’ll be honest…….. if your idea of a weekend at the coast is two days in the pub, we are definitely not the right choice for you! Esmae House itself is a three storey Victorian property set within a conservation area of Filey.  We have 4 en-suite rooms (1 Double, 3 King),  all tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard.

Welcome to Humble Bee Farm, a working farm with luxury holiday cottages, glamping Wigwams and campsite.Our site has the Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail literally on our doorstep, while the Cleveland Way National Trail can be picked up in Filey, about 7 miles away.We are close to the Yorkshire Coast resorts of Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby, and we are on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. The North York Moors National Park is a short drive away, so our location is perfect for exploring the area. The famous Cinder Track (the old railway line between Scarborough and Whitby) is another great walkers’ delight, starting in Scarborough (about 8 miles away).Our site is based on a working farm with tractors, sheep, cows, hens, goats and ducks.Our Wigwams® are fully heated, with excellent facilities, while our peaceful campsite helps you make the most of Yorkshire’s beautiful scenery. You can also try our famous Glamping packages in our Wigwams®  which help make your stay extra special! Dogs are welcome, so we are perfect for a walking holiday, family break or even a couples’ retreat.

Tollergate, a listed cottage on three levels dating from the eighteenth century, is in the old part of Scarborough near the Castle and both North and South Bays. Cober Hill is a 1920’s Victorian mansion, steeped in history and set in 11 acres of stunning grounds nestled in the North York Moors National Park and Heritage Coast.All our rooms are en suite and are suitable for families and large groups. At the bottom of the garden you’ll find the summer house, a welcome respite on those warm summer days, or cosy winter nights.

Moonfleet is a Grade II listed former manor house, situated 300 yards from the sea in Skinningrove, a traditional fishing village. Local attractions include a hidden unspoilt cove (making it perfect for a quiet getaway!) There is no commercialism here, but lots of history: from saxon treasure found in the hills nearby, to smuggling, fishing and iron ore mining. Pigeon racing is a major local past time and on 5th November there is an amazing bonfire on the beach, watched by thousands. The Cleveland Way runs along the shore, making it perfect for dog walkers. It is also centrally located for Whitby, Staithes, Saltburn-by-the-Sea and the North York Moors. As for businesses, TATA Steel, Pot Ash and Caterpillar are all close by. All rooms are to a high standard, have en-suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a full bar, pool table and private car park. Afternoon teas and packed lunches are available too and evening meals on request.  On site laundry service. Visitors with dogs please contact for prior arrangements.
